Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible, floor ruined!! I thought I would try out this product and the floor polish. Looks good after the polish, then the next days started seeing spots all over the floor and it turned my brown grout white, so I washed it again. The entire floor turned white, it is a dark brown tile. Washed again with just water, just as bad, will need to scrub on hands and knees to clean this mess. Waste of money, will be throwing both bottle away!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the Armstrong I've used Armstrong cleaner for over 20 years. Everyone seems to miss it a great deal, too. Can't find anything better, why take it off the market!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed- why fix something that isn't broken? Iv used Armstrong floor cleaner for as long as I can remember. This "new" Pledge is disappointing, and quite frankly annoying. It may not leave a residue but it does leave your ceramic tiles and vinyl floors very dull! My sisters noticed the same on their floors. Bring back my Armstrong!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT like Armstrong! I clean houses and used the Armstrong floor cleaner for years on various floors and always with great results. The new Pledge just doesn't measure up, as it leaves many floor surfaces (especially tile) streaked. P-L-E-A-S-E bring back my Armstrong!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible horrible product My new cleaning lady used this on my ceramic tiles. So far today I have mopped my floors (several hundred square feet) twice using a Castile soap. Then buffed it using towels, mopped it again with plain vinegar and again with plain water. My floors are still splotchy, sticky, and slippery. I have spent several hours cleaning floors trying to remove this horrible product from my ceramic tile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I'm on my second gallon of the Multi-surface concentrated floor cleaner. I can't imagine using anything else. I have a large kitchen with linoleum flooring. This cleaner must have a surfactant in it because the mop just glides across the floor, and genuinely cleans (vs. pushing the dirt around). There is no streaking and no loss or increase in shine. I like not having to rinse, too. But I think if I had to choose my favorite quality of this product, it would be the long-lasting fresh fragrance. I just love it!I do have a question, though. Does anyone know from experience how this product works on marble/granite? I have a friend looking for something to clean her marble flooring and is a bit leery to try anything new because the housekeeper ruined the shine of her floor with vinegar. We want to be sure that this cleaner is equally as good on marble as it is on linoleum.

For Routine Cleaning: Add 1/4 cup of cleaner to 1 gallon of warm water. Wash floor as usual. No rinsing necessary.

For Extra-Strength Cleaning: Add 1/2 cup of cleaner to 1 gallon of warm water.

Helpful Hints:

  • For tough spots, Pledge® FloorCare Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner can be used at full strength. Just apply to a clean, damp cloth and wipe!
  • If your floor looks dull due to a waxy build-up from other products, remove the build-up using the following method:
    1. Mix 1 cup of ammonia and 1/4 cup of Pledge® FloorCare Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner with 1/2 gallon of cool water.
    2. Spread over a 3´ x 3´ area. Let stand 5 minutes, scrub and rinse with plain water.
    3. Repeat until build-up is removed and entire floor is clean. Continued use will not lead to a waxy build-up.

    4. Additional Notes:

Product is not recommended for unfinished, waxed, oiled or worn surfaces.

Eye Irritant: Contains surfactants. Avoid contact with eyes.
