Pledge® FloorCare Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner is rated 2.55 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best product I haver used on wood floors I have owned a large house cleaning company for over 20 years. We have used every wood floor product under the sun, this is the best we have ever used. I use it on my personal cherry wood floors in my home. It works great on tile, marble, granite, leaves no film, does not streak. Most of all of our customers use this product on tile and wood floors, some have been using this products on wood floors for over 15 years. I don't think Johnson realizes this is also great for wood floors. They have just come out with 2-3 new wood floor products that do not work. Why don't they let maid services test their products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible, floor ruined!! I thought I would try out this product and the floor polish. Looks good after the polish, then the next days started seeing spots all over the floor and it turned my brown grout white, so I washed it again. The entire floor turned white, it is a dark brown tile. Washed again with just water, just as bad, will need to scrub on hands and knees to clean this mess. Waste of money, will be throwing both bottle away!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the Armstrong I've used Armstrong cleaner for over 20 years. Everyone seems to miss it a great deal, too. Can't find anything better, why take it off the market!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed- why fix something that isn't broken? Iv used Armstrong floor cleaner for as long as I can remember. This "new" Pledge is disappointing, and quite frankly annoying. It may not leave a residue but it does leave your ceramic tiles and vinyl floors very dull! My sisters noticed the same on their floors. Bring back my Armstrong!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT like Armstrong! I clean houses and used the Armstrong floor cleaner for years on various floors and always with great results. The new Pledge just doesn't measure up, as it leaves many floor surfaces (especially tile) streaked. P-L-E-A-S-E bring back my Armstrong!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible horrible product My new cleaning lady used this on my ceramic tiles. So far today I have mopped my floors (several hundred square feet) twice using a Castile soap. Then buffed it using towels, mopped it again with plain vinegar and again with plain water. My floors are still splotchy, sticky, and slippery. I have spent several hours cleaning floors trying to remove this horrible product from my ceramic tile.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful results I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have been using it only on my new laminate floors and hate it. Its the first one I've used and regret not doing my research. It leave a residue so after using it footprints show really bad no matter how long I let them dry. Definitely going to throw the product away and do my research. Lesson learned.

  • If your floor looks dull due to a waxy build-up from other products, remove the build-up using the following method:
    1. Mix 1 cup of ammonia and 1/4 cup of Pledge® FloorCare Multi Surface Concentrated Cleaner with 1/2 gallon of cool water.
    2. Spread over a 3´ x 3´ area. Let stand 5 minutes, scrub and rinse with plain water.
    3. Repeat until build-up is removed and entire floor is clean. Continued use will not lead to a waxy build-up.
